esme is a cafe with a unique menu inspired by the cultures and experiences of the founders, Ivan and Gabby. It’s their baby - combining their favorite flavors, culinary travels, childhood memories, and personal style all in one space. This is their first project together, and through a lot of hard work and years of manifestation esme has finally come to life. .

In 2017, Ivan and Gabby were living in New York when they realized it was time to make a change. Sitting in a coffee shop in TriBeCa, they started dreaming about an alternate universe where they could run their own coffee shop, create incredible food and share meals with the ones they loved…and that’s when their wild idea was born.

At the heart of esme is a mission to build community by creating a physical space where people can intentionally gather around a meal or a drink to connect with one another.

Ivan’s worked as a chef in several NYC Michelin star restaurants. Gabby is a marketer and has worked in the events, design and advertising industries. Together, with a lot of help and encouragement from their family and friends, they are so proud to finally bring this project to life.
